Hard Brexit Means Soft Growth (potential)


After the June 23rd referendum won by the “Leave” camp, the situation in the UK is in flux, with the government trying to find a common position ahead of negotiations for withdrawal from the European Union (EU) and other relevant policy areas (such as the Bank of England) engaged in reducing the short-term impact of inevitably increased uncertainty. In this report, we discuss the state of the UK economy and its possible developments, as well as how the negotiations between the UK and the rest of the EU are likely to evolve in coming months.
