Spain: Uncertainty Starts Taking its Toll


We recently visited Spain to explore the reasons behind the apparent disconnect between strong economic activity and the ongoing political gridlock, with Spain being without a government fully legitimised by an election. Some commentators even suggested that Spain could grow speedily exactly because it was “without a government,” a line of thinking we have always found unconvincing.
